Italian soprano [1780-1849].  Rare 6x9 portrait engraving by Thomson, London, 1822, of the legendary soprano, the first internationally famous prima donna and the first to sing Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro in England. Trimmed, with minor soiling, but a strong, evocative image.

Czech composer and pianist (1760-1812).  Third person ALS in French, September 19, 1810, 1p, requesting the delivery of a manuscript to Mr. Cianchettini (his publisher and brother-in-law) for an air varié (one of his late keyboard pieces). On an 8x7 page, in fine condition except for one minor tear along the left edge affecting three words. Early and rare example of this pre-Romantic keyboard genius.

Martin [Hensler, his longtime partner] had such a good time - it was sweet of you to ask us."

American singer and stage star [1913-1990]. Rare original  publicity still for the 1941 film "Kiss the Boys Goodbye", signed by Martin. Charming Southern Belle costume from the comedy with Don Ameche, one of her early screen appearances.
